Handelsblatt publishes Best Lawyers List 2014 – JONAS lawyers are successful

This year the US publisher "Best Lawyers" has again compiled a list of German lawyers from various practice areas for its ranking established for the trade newspaper Handelsblatt in Germany. Our partners Karl Hamacher and Dr. Martin Viefhues are included in the category "Intellectual Property Law" in this ranking. "Best Lawyers" additionally honoured Karl Hamacher as "Lawyer of the Year 2014, Intellectual Property Law – Cologne, DE". The US lawyer and law firm reviewer "Best Lawyers" has been publishing lists of recommendations for lawyers in different jurisdictions for more than 25 years and is deemed as one of the oldest and most renowned legal reference guides, particularly in the USA. The lawyers are rated each year anew on the basis of a so-called "peer-to-peer" recommendation by a large number of competing lawyers. This year’s list covers 1,800 lawyers from a total of 63 areas of expertise.
